I'm Back

Now that my exams are over and I’ve had a little time to let things sink in, I’m back. It’s easy to get sidetracked into getting “other things” done, but I do miss the blogosphere to some degree. So, I’m back in the saddle again.

We went to Palmetto State Park last weekend – a mini retreat with the family before my last exam. Many thought it crazy, but gettin’ out and camping on the San Marcos was a perfect way to relieve a little stress before the last haul of the semester.

Besides, it was the kid’s first camping trip. And boy did they really love it. From putting up the tent to roasting hot dogs over an evening fire, they just took in every last second. I liked not having to take a shower or shave for a couple of days – just sittin’ around stinkin’…fishin’…and lovin’ every bit of it. I’m hoping to post some pictures of the trip later today.
